Chibwe Maibwe

Chibwe started his career in Commodity Finance in the year 2010 as a Commodity Inspector working for ACE Global Depository, where he horned experience in Structured Trade and Commodity Finance up to a point when he was Internal Audit and Training Officer for the Southern African region. He worked in the Audit division of the organization to insure that policies and company procedures were within the confinements of the different counties’ laws and legislation. Working on designing workflows of the Different services ACE Global offered, i.e. FWSA, CMA, Stock Audits, STCF and Supply Chain Finance, Monitoring Services, Secured Distribution, Grain Management and Storage Systems. Counterparty& operational risk assessments. Chibwe also examined company accounts, financial control systems and evaluating the level of financial risk within the organization by analysing the Quick and Liquidity Ratios in the statement of financial position of Ace Global as an organization. In 2014 Chibwe Joined another Organization that deals in Structured Trade and commodity finance (Collateral Management International) As Operations coordinator, Chibwe co-facilitated the setting up of Liaison with partners in Zambia ,helped in the business development the organization and coordinating operations country wide he also evaluated personnel and facilitated training thereof, overseeing the staffing of employees, Meeting potential depositors and giving advisory expertise on Structured Commodity and Trade Finance (SCTF) and recommending potential financiers. Conducting country wide stock verifications and inspections on collateralized stock and reporting findings to financing Banks.

Chibwe enjoys Reading, Poetry and Travelling and has a keen interest in Sports- Soccer and cricket.
