After graduating from the University of Bielefeld (Germany) with a degree (Dipl.-Kfm.) in Business Management Eduard started his career in Kazakhstan building the Operations of a Grain Trading Joint Venture for a private German Group of Companies.

Eduard continued building his expertise in Commodity Trading with Tradigrain SA (a subsidiary of Farmland Industries) in Geneva/Switzerland. He traded physical grain and oilseeds from the Black Sea region for Asian and North African markets. In parallel he acted as Product Line Trader for wheat and corn where he performed Global Fundamental Market Analysis, advised suppliers and clients on market and price trends and executed Price Hedging through futures. He also was part of the Trade & Structured Finance department where he worked with Financial Institutions on Financial Arbitrage Products and Risk Mitigation Structures.

In 2003 Eduard joined Bunge SA in Geneva/Switzerland. He worked as Trader for grain, oilseeds and vegetable oils from Black Sea region. Eduard was also member of Bunge’s Task Force to develop the business in the Russian Federation and was based in Moscow as Managing Director of Agridivision. In his responsibility for building Supply Chain and Trading Operations he executed and integrated Acquisitions of Logistics Assets and was heading a team of 40 employees and 5 regional offices. Eduard also played an instrumental role in the functional design and business process engineering in a SAP project of Bunge.

During the Financial Crisis in 2008 Eduard was recruited by Biopetrol in Zug, Switzerland as Vice-President for Risk Management and Procurement. As member of the Management Team he was responsible for the Risk Position of 3 biodiesel factories with a total annual processing capacity of 750 Thousand metric tons. In this role Eduard gained major experience in Turnaround Management and played a significant role in the preparation of the Group for a take-over by a Strategic Investor.

In 2011 Eduard joined a subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation, Interacid Trading SA in Lausanne/Switzerland, providing world wide marketing, logistics and terminal services for sulphuric acid and sulphur. Eduard advised the Shareholder and the Company on Strategic Development Projects including Financial Analysis of Investment Opportunities and Restructuring of Long-Term Commitments.

Today, Eduard focuses on corporate advisory and creation of arbitrage opportunities in commodity trading.

Eduard holds a degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) in Business Management from the University of Bielefeld, Germany. Eduard is fluent in German, Russian, English and has some knowledge of French.
