With a degree in Business Administration from the Universidade Padre Anchieta, Fabio started his commodity career in the Sugar and Ethanol business at NovAmerica Trading, being responsible to guarantee at the lowest possible cost the sugar supply chain of all the 3 group refineries. In oder to be competitive, Fabio had to deal with the retail market and particularly the biggest Brazilian brand called “União”.
After almost three successful years of prospecting suppliers, pricing the sugar on the exchange market and developing the performance indicators for the area, NovAmerica sold all the industrial assets and the sugar brand to Cosan and then Fabio found himself responsible for the implementation of the procurement sugar area for internal and external market.
Two years later, Cosan decided to merge with Shell to create Raizen, and Fabio became Procurement Manager, being responsible for the implementation and management of all the productive and unproductive items, for developing the results indicators and also for the deployment of the new sugar intelligence area.
Few weeks before Cosan sold the brand and operations division to Camil, Fabio decided to accept the opportunity to become Sales Manager at the Noble Group, being responsible to sell and trade all the Sugar and Ethanol produced from their Brazilian Sugar and Ethanol Mills, by prospecting customers and identifying the market and all the related internal costs, in order to ensure better margins across all the different channels (retail, industrial or export).
Today, with over 10 years’ experience Fabio is working as a broker and business consultant regarding the best purchases and selling practices.
Fabio holds a Post Graduated in Supply Chain from Universidade de Campinas (Unicamp) and an MBA in Finance from FundaçãoGetulio Vargas (FGV). Fabio is fluent in Portuguese, English and understands Spanish.
Fabio likes sports, specially soccer and swimming. Reading books and staying with his family are also their preference.
