Francisco Moreno Catalan

Francisco has a 17 years professional experience in Agri Commodities both in logistics and trading field. He started his career in international business and operations, working for Grupo Columbia in Mexico City as imports and exports Analyst, managing logistics and following up operations of several products such as; corn, wheat, fats, oils, dairy ingredients and others. After this period, he became Trader for the fats and dairy ingredients division in the same company. His next position was Logistics Manager for Fertlizantes Mosaic (Mexican brand for The Mosaic Company) a Cargill group company, he was in charge of logistics and operations, handling the supply chain and the domestic distribution of an average of 350,000 mt of fertilizers in bulk and packed per year, developing a strategic network of warehousing and ports facilities which became later, one of the most efficient logistics and operations teams in the industry. In his second period in Grupo Columbia, Francisco performed as Logistics and Operations Director being responsible for imports and exports shipments and domestic distribution of grains; corn, wheat, chickpeas and raw sugar. In this period, he also acted as grains and raw sugar Trader, closing business with Mexican government supply programs and export shipments. He is currently working as broker of Agri commodities and logistics services in Mexico.

Francisco holds a bachelor degree of International Business from Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN) and a Master of Business and International Commerce from Universidad de las Américas (UDLA). He speaks fluent Spanish,English, Italian and average German.
