Iddrisu Ngmenipuo

Iddrisu is a consummate finance and accounting professional committed to ensuring that the accounting body of knowledge continues to grow. As such he has been a seasoned academic with the Wa Polytechnic in the Upper West Region of Ghana for close to 2 decades and has had spells as the head of Accountancy Studies Department and also as Dean of Business School. His time in the academia has enabled him to meet the brightest minds in business and finance as he expands the body of accounting and finance knowledge, giving the principles business applicability. Currently Iddrissu is an adjunct lecturer at the University Of Development Studies School Of Business and Law and a facilitator on the Commonwealth Executive EMBA program of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. Previously also he served as an instructor on the University of Cape Coast Distance Learning Bachelor of Commerce program. Iddrissu developed interested in the energy sector due to his constant interaction with business professionals in that sector and he became an Energy Risk Professional with the Global Association of Risk professionals. Iddrissu is adept at understanding how physical energy markets interplay with the financial markets and is committed to using his private consultancy –Iddishaq Consulting Limited to providing solutions to energy focused company’s trying to manage the risks inherent in their transactions.

Iddrisu has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Iddrissu is also a Chartered Accountant, a certified Economist and an Energy Risk Professional

Iddrisu is an avid reader of a wide range of business literature and a keen follower of the cinemas with special interests for Nollywood and Bollywood.
