José Hernandez

Jose began his career as marine surveyor with Inspectorate. He was later involved as shipagent, physical trader, shipbroker and back-office manager in different companies such as Celsa group amongst others.

One year later he joined CHS as a senior operator for grain execution/financial division.  Jose ultimately held the position of shipmanager coordinating also the comercial/trading department in Pegase International SA.

Jose is an expert in the maritime area, having tremendous experience in the whole trading/supplychain in terms of sales/purchase contracts, monitoring logistic operations  and banking execution .

He is currently CEO of HSCommodity Partners SL.

Jose holds a degree in Civil Marine Merchant from the University Naval of Barcelona. He is also a marine deck officer. 

He also own a Master in Marine Transpor by the COMME  ( Official Collegue of Spanish Officers )  together with all electives courses of ISPS, DGDMM and chemical tranport.

Jose enjoys his family and is passionate about football, golf , classic cars and shipboats
