Norberto has accomplished more than 13-year experience in the Natural Gas Industry. He began his professional trajectory in the energy sector as a Sales Representative with local gas natural suppliers (LDC) in Mexico supporting a strong infrastructure development and applying new management and regulations with final customers based on a respected social environment.
Based on this experience he was invited by the same institution to participate in the infrastructure development projects between Mexico and the United States to cover up the Mexico´s energetic deficit mainly for PEMEX and CFE; achieving the supply integration through long-term negotiated agreements for this project appointed in the NET - MEX transport system that currently supply half of the natural gas imports from south Texas and Mexico.
In other roles that he has had spotlights his compromise to identify business opportunities with end users through the employment of feasibility tools in social, economic and technological (PEST) aspects that has granted him to participate with the business strategy development in any type of industry applying measurable tools such as balance score card and business strategies with Karras and Harvard models.
Currently he is still performing as a business generator and market intelligence coordinator in the natural gas market for the major energy government entity in Mexico applying his professional experience acquired by two MBA's and related studies that let him obtain different positions according to the prompt circumstances from a specific technical aspect such as market analysis a directive position through corporate strategy alignment and control with key indicators (KPI's) to an innovative role visualizing the trading of natural gas not as raw material but as a part of a model of energy supply.
Norberto holds two MBA's. The ultimate one is Public Policies Administration at IEXE (Public Policy School) that provided him with the skills based on the new energetic reform environment in Mexico and helped him develop commercial strategies thanks to his second MBA at HWU ( Heriot Watt University) in order to elaborate and evaluate new services in this new regulatory and competitive environment with differentiators that permit to be more competitive under new market agents.
Also, he has studied in other institutions like ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México) a Diploma on Business Development and Direction, Effective Communication, High Impact Presentations, Project Administration and other related studies in relation to how to manage emotions in a stress situation in order to obtain results. His Alma Mater UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) where he studied Food Chemistry, including fermented beverages processes and development of new products as well.
Norberto is very passionate to experiment and face new challenges. For instance, one of them is to identify with his senses different kind of food from regional to authors reaching to each of the dishes making a culinary experience and cultural at the same time. In another scope is to maintain in the leading on the use of technological tools that include from new gadgets to new ways to get information fun and life style.
Norberto is enthusiastic when traveling to colonial and romantic places without leaving on the side the big cities of the world like Mexico, Hong Kong y Shanghai and he is fond of enjoying new experiences with nature like diving, sailing flying in a balloon, take a look in a paragliding and other activities.
In the social aspect, he likes to spend time with his family that is the base of his convictions, principles and honesty towards the others. Part of his personal goals is to get to know new people and to form a strong social link that will let him leave and transcend his enthusiasm for living and leave a legacy of his professional and personal experience.
