Patrick Kongolo

Upon completion of his Science Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Patrick joined Kito International a mining supplier company as an Engineer. After bringing new opportunities and solutions in mining product supplies and services, he has been quickly appointed Engineering Manager for South Mining Area of Dem. Rep. Congo covering all main gold / diamond / copper / cobalt / zinc mining and processing plant with partners in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa. Two years later he was offered the opportunity to create and manage the Congolese branch of the Italian Company Pigott Maskew Ltd specialized in rubber lining and HDPE piping in Zambia and Tanzania before joining 3 years later REMA TIP TOP South Africa DUNLOP Industrial Products Group of companies which are part of the STAHLGRUBER Group from Germany. From South Africa, acting has a Business Technical Development Manager he created a branch in Madagascar and one year later a branch in Mauritius covering Indian Ocean business mainly nickel / cobalt / illemenite process plant. For more than five years he’s been also heading the Sales and Marketing

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electromechanical Engineering (UNILU) He has done technical trainings for conveyor belting, Rubber lining, wear protection, rubber hoses and mills liners at REMA TIPTOP SA - DUNLOP Industrial Products. Also Executive Distributor marketing training at METSO Minerals SA Patrick is fluent in French, English and Swahili

Patrick used to run marathon and play basketball, a bit of football, volleyball and ping-pong. He is a die hard fanatic of Formula One racing (Ferrari, F1 car technology, Speed, the perfection in details, …), 3D construction and aviation technology on his free time.
