Paulina Bermudez

Paulina was born in Mexico City and is currently living in Bogota, Colombia. 

Paulina has been involved in the fertilizer industry since 1996 having now the representation for Latin America (excluding Brazil) of Agrofertrans, an English trading company based in Kiev, Ukraine that produces and distributes more than 1.5 million tons annually of the main fertilizers and specialties. She also represents Yargus Manufacturing (American fertilizer equipment producer) for Central America, Colombia, Peru and Chile.

Before, she represented Quantum Fertiliser, the trade arm of Incitec Pivot Australia based in Hong Kong. Previously she had worked in the trading business, for more than 8 years with Indagro, Swiss fertilizer company based in Athens.

From 1997 to 2000 she was leading the International Sales department of Agro Nitrogenados México, urea and ammonium nitrate producer (1 million of tons).

Along this years, she has developed  a deep knowledge of the different countries increasing the Latam market share of the companies she had been involved with.

In total, Paulina, has more than 16 years of experience in international fertilizers trading, opening and developing markets and new products across Latin America.

Paulina owns a MBA from Barcelona University and an International Trade Diploma at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, ITAM.

Paulina is fond of traveling, reading and cinema.
