Pierre-François Dumas

Pierre-François had always been on the purchasing side of the business.

After his MBA he began his career in the retail of sports’ goods in DECATHLON ( 5 years ), managing a team of engineers in charge of development and  subcontracting under the private label of  a wide range of product mainly in the food segment.

He developed his skills in international markets through 10 years of procurement activity in the food industry. Being first Senior Buyer in a subsidiary of DANONE and then Corporate Purchasing Officer in the Confectionary Industry ( CEMOI Group ). The challenge was to  centralize and manage the purchasing of 11 production units worldwide. He had to recruit and manage more than ten buyers and packaging developers. He was directly in charge of  Dried fruits market (hazelnuts, almonds) and  Cocoa Hedging.

His latest step was in AG Inputs. First  as Director of the BU on inputs ( from marketing, logistic, purchasing to sales management ) for a big Coop in South West of France.  Second, fo rnow 7 years he has been in charge of the trade and import of Fertilizers for a group of Coops in South of France, as an independent consultant. He is General Secretary of the EFBA ( European Fertilizers Blenders Association ) and had been in charge of the French Association of Fertilizers Blenders and Distributors ( AFCOME ) as General Secretary and more recently till now as President of the International Committee. He developed a good network with European Commission and AG Distributors in North and South America. He is representing Yargus Manufacturing ( American fertilizer equipment producer ) and AMW, a German producer of Beneficials, for France and represents FERTEMIS, a French producer, for the commercialization of its processes worldwide.

 Pierre-François holds an enginering degree in Agriculture ( ISARA Lyon ) and completed his education with an MBA ( EDHEC Lille ) 

Pierre-François used to be a Rugby player and is now a great supporter. He loves Fly-fishing and discovering new Landscapes and Cultures.
