Ramiro is a global performer and reputable leader with experience in strategy consulting, international business & financial services in US, Latin America and Europe.He started off his financial services & international business career as a commodity & forex trader and Relationship Manager at the international branch of Lloyds Bank in Mexico City, Mexico. His responsibilities included day-to-day global spot trading, futures and options operations, fundamental & technical analysis and promoting & selling offshore investment services to high-end net-worth individuals in Mexico, developing & polishing his networking, negotiation and cross-cultural communication skills &abilities. After 4 years he received an offer to join the IBM Global Financial Services unit in Mexico, the very first Non-bank Bank in the country. As a Key Account Executive, he assisted the company to build the brand by promoting and selling specialized financial services products & services aimed to offer innovative financing options to IBM corporate & small &medium (SMB) size clients in the country. He decided to pursue a full time MBA in International Management at Thunderbird, in Glendale, Arizona, in the USA. His graduate studies took him to spend a year in the school campus in Geneva, Switzerland, where he took international business courses at the Universite de Geneve. After earning his MBA and spending a year in an internship at the Sales & Trading and Private Banking divisions of Merrill Lynch in their New York & Miami offices, he decided to launch his own Global Strategy, International Development & Business Representation Consulting firm, Exploria Group, aimed toadvise small & medium size companies on their business expansion initiatives to international markets, while further developing global trading projects, commercializing everything from cut flowers, cement, sugar, and other commodities. He worked with multinational corporations like Concha y Toro Wineries, Starbucks and Accor Group to develop regional business strategies while living in Chile, Argentina & France. Furthermore, he was invited to work for the international division of the Spanish Insurance company MAPFRE as their Latin America Commercial Director, living & working in Madrid, Spain, Bogota, Colombia and Mexico City, Mexico for 2 years. Moreover, he is presently back in Exploria Group, LLC, set up rep officesin Denver, Colorado & Bogota, Colombia to further develop his business initiatives, representing companies internationally, orchestrating startups, establishing a global energy sales & trading operation and developing & co-founding the very first Investment Funds Distribution Company in Colombia, Mas F.

Ramiro has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City, holds international studies in Tourism & Hospitality Management from University of Ottawa in Canada, a Graduate Diploma in Specialized Financial Services from Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico, earnedhis full-time MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona, USA, and has international business studies at the Universite de Geneve in Switzerland. He speaks native Spanish and English and is fluent in French & Italian.

Ramiro is a sports & fitness enthusiast, played part-time professional tennis for 3 years, is presently a low-handicap golfer and enjoys mountain biking, water & extreme sports and weights & fitness training. He enjoys photography, dancing, wine tastings and he is an avid globetrotter, having lived in 9 countries and visited over 30.
