Richard Dickinson

After obtaining a BA in Economics and Management at Sussex University, Richard left to China to undertake a Master in Public Administration in International Development at Tsinghua University. During this period he also passed the most advanced level of the HSK (Standardized Chinese Proficiency Examination). Richard then joined Arreon Carbon in 2011 as a member of their International Strategy Division working primarily on China-EU M&A deals in the energy sector. In 2012, he was promoted to head of trading at Arreon Carbon Trading Limited and oversaw the company’s carbon emission offset portfolio. He then joined ORKA NRG AG, an international biodiesel and feedstock sourcing and trading firm, in 2015 as the Chief Representative for the company in China, building the Chinese end of the business. Richard currently works as the Chief Representative and Trader for Phibro Renewables AG. His focus is on Chinese biodiesel/renewable diesel and feedstock. Richard is fluent in English, French and Mandarin Chinese.
