Romeo Kamenan

Upon completion of his Master in Economics, Romeo joined United Bank for Africa as Domestic Operation Officer in 2009. He was in charge of clearing process with Central Bank, regulatory monthly report and basic control of posting entries. After three years by bringing improvement in Banking Operation department, he got a great opportunity with another Panafican Bank named Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank). Started at GTBank implementation in Ivory Coast as Branch Head of operation, he had been working gradually at various positions in banking (Customer Service, international and local transfer banking, internal Control…) during 4 years 5 months. Also, beyond his assignment, he assisted Human Resources in recruitment process of junior staff for the business and training most of them. Four year later (August 2016), he was offer the opportunity to be Audit & Risk Assistant Manager Francophone Africa at Unilever in charge of 18 countries. The main purpose of his role was to carry out the audits and risk assessments across the systems/procedures within the company and to suggest best practices for improvement of controls.

Romeo hold a Master in Economics and another MSc in Finance from EMLyon Business School in France. He is also fluent in French and English

Romeo like watching and play football and is now a great supporter of Manchester United.
