Vimal Verma

Vimal started his career with one of the leading Rice manufacturers in agro commodity trading company based in India. He joined as a management trainee (International marketing), got multiple promotions and rose to the level of Manager-Exports in a very short span of time. During his tenure he managed international trade from countries like Dubai, Doha, Qatar, Canada, Mauritius China, Vietnam, Indonesia etc. In addition to rice, he also has experience in commodities like Soybean meal, Rapeseed meal, Maize etc. Later he moved to work with Reinhart India Pvt. Ltd. (100% subsidiary of Paul Reinhart AG, Switzerland) as a “Trader – Cotton/Regional Manager–Gujarat”, with this company he is mainly handling trading cum managerial assignments, majority of work is to maintain P/L and take trade positions (buy-sell of physical cotton to spinning mills/trading companies & cotton futures) with the help of various International commodity trading strategies, apart from this he is responsible for bulk sourcing of cotton to meet company’s domestic & International sales commitments. He had played a vital role in setting up company’s regional branches in India and at present he is heading one of its regional offices located in Gujarat, India (largest cotton producing state). Also had good exposure of business travelling in some of European market

Vimal has earned Masters in Business Administration with specialization in “International Business” from University of Lucknow, India in 2007-09. Prior to this, he completed Diploma in “Public Administration” followed by Masters in Physics (specialisation in Electronics) from same University in 2004-06. Cotton Graduate from Gdynia Cotton Association, Gdynia, Poland in year 2013 (successfully completed 45 days Cotton Classification course)
