Matsoso Mokhatla Joash

Matsoso Mokhatla is currently a Supply Chain & Management Procurement Advisory Specialist for a global consulting giant in the Business Process Outsourcing Practice (BPO) division serving a Coal Multi-National organization. Matsoso is responsible for strategic sourcing, category management and establishing solid supplier relationships throughout the maintenance equipment and engineering commodities. Before working in consulting Matsoso was a global procurement specialist within the oil and gas industry based in South Africa HQ servicing 7 African affiliates (Liberia, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia) sourcing all goods and services required. Most equipment dealt with was for retail sites (downstream), depots, aviation equipment and mining. Over and above Matsoso has vast experience in international trade, global sourcing and commodity management. Matsoso received extensive training in Paris France to perform the role of global procurement specialist and also to develop regional suppliers within the Africa Middle East region. Matsoso has also acquired knowledge and skills in the construction industry specializing in property development in the West Rand of Gauteng Johannesburg while studying at the University of Johannesburg.

Matsoso studied Logistics Management obtaining both a B.Comm and BTECH Degree from the University of Johannesburg. He also holds a National Diploma Logistics Management and a Certificate in Enterprise Resource Planning from the University of Johannesburg. Further he has an Applied Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate from the University of the Witwatersrand. Matsoso is fluent in English and Afrikaans/Dutch.
