For the marketing arm a of petrochemical group in the Geneva area (Switzerland), we are looking for the following suitable candidate.
Role purpose: Enacts Global Commercial Director and European Sales Manager in their Polymer's Sales strategy
Individual accountabilities:
Execute the group's Polymers strategy for Europe:
• Assist in identifying target clients for the Group's polymer product offerings
• Acquisition of new customers in selected Segment
• Place all volumes allocated to Europe
• Lock-in competitive prices
• Sign contracts, oversee data entry, deal finalization procedures
Product expertise:
• Have strong understanding of Engineering Plastic to effectively communicate with clients
• Have good understanding of part design and processing techniques to insure excellent level of technical
service
Develop relationships with commercial counterparties and clients in region:
• Build steady deal/transaction flow
• Develop client/counterparty relationships to secure long-term contracts
Effectively communicate clients' product needs to R&D team:
• Minimize compatibility issues of product
• Able to translate client needs into technical solutions and new product ideas
• Able to identify new market trends
Enable sales force effectiveness
• Employ strong sales force to execute sales
• Monitor performance
Collaborate with ESM to maximize market intelligence:
• Share data from client interactions with ESM
• Leverage ESM knowledge to adjust regional/global strategy
REQUIREMENTS
• Technical Background in Polymer Chemistry, Injection Molding, Troobleshooting, Part Design
• Sales Experience is a must
• Procative Self starter
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Fluent in English
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Team Player.
• German, Italian or French is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP and CRM systems
• Good Knowledge of logistics & Inco terms
