For one international bank in Geneva (Switzerland), we are looking for the following suitable candidate:

Role:

• Day to day management of transactions

• Ensure quality of service to the client

• Ensure effectiveness of first line controls

• Assist/Coach Transaction Managers of same group in day to day tasks

• Sign (1st visa) on clients’ instructions to be forwarded to L/C Department, Back Office Settlement, Credit administration and 1st visa on electronic payments

Responsibilities:

1. Transactions Management

• Analyze and understand risks related to a proposed transaction (credit, operational, compliance, hedging, freight, transactional liquidation, quality of security)

• Prepare Transaction sheet for presentation to Credit authorities based on documents/information received from the Client/Relationship Manager. Obtain, in agreement with Relationship Management, necessary approvals for transactions

• Collect and check Transaction documents according to credit decision

• Prepare and/or collect transactional credit documents (pre-financing agreements, specific pledge agreements, insurance documents, etc…)

• Ensure that transactions comply with conditions set by Credit authorities

• Ensure that all transactions meet the bank's standards with respect to compliance issues

• Remit Transaction documents for execution to the appropriate support function (Central File, LC Department, Back-Office Settlements, Credit administration)

• Sign with Relationship Manager on client’s instructions remitted for execution to back offices and 1st visa on electronic payments

• Execution of deposits and advances

• Intake/release of material pledged

• Execute forex transactions

• Obtain adequate approvals from Correspondent Banking department

• Perform credit and compliance checks on above mentioned tasks

• Follow up on the execution of payments and documentary instructions (L/Cs, …)

• Create a transaction file with all documents and information related to that particular transaction

• Sign on Annex 1 of credit facility package based on detailed modus operandi agreed with Relationship Manager

2. Client’s position Monitoring

• Maintain and update the client’s economic position

• Monitor the client’s margin and the transaction with regard to timely loading of goods, payment of receivables, receipt of contracts and sales instruments

• Monitor price risk exposure and hedging positions

• Raise any risk issues to Group Supervisor and Relationship Manager

3. Client relationship

• Discuss with client any new financing request, in close collaboration with Relationship Management

• Communicate with client for all above mentioned matters

• Reply to client inquiries if within competences (see above)

• Meet with client (operational staff)

4. Team

• Develop/maintain understanding and knowledge of all the desk credit facilities

• Act as back-up for any AO/TM colleagues of the same group

• Assist AO/TM of the same group in their day to day tasks

• Act as a liaison for the Relationship Management, support functions and Back-office functions

5. Other risk management areas (Compliance, Operational, Anti-fraud)

• Maintain the highest possible risk mitigating standards by following the operational procedures developed by the bank

• In performing all above listed tasks, the Senior Transaction Manager is responsible and held accountable to ensure that all dealings and transactions are compliant with the bank's policies and Swiss Laws and regulations

Professional and Educational Experience required:

• University degree, equivalent background, CFC or commercial background

• 4 years of experience in TCF
