- What is the role?
- Assessment of the city / cluster demand potential: Mapping demand clusters in a new geography in terms of different customer segments (working professionals, students, male / female, high end / low end), along with specific demand centers (large Tech / IT parks, SEZs, universities / colleges / institutes, large Corporate offices, etc.) and understanding of dynamics of demand in those geographies. Involves both online / desk research as well as field surveys and meetings.
- Assessment of the city / cluster supply structure: Mapping existing properties / supply in target geographies, type of supply, quantity of existing supply and demand supply-gap, nature and pricing of supply, key dynamics of existing supply and potential list of suppliers to target. Involves both online / desk research as well as field surveys and meetings.
- Initiating conversations / liaisoning with potential suppliers: Meeting property owners / suppliers in target markets to assess on-ground acquisition potential, coordinating between central top management and city teams on specific acquisition cases, in depth.
How could you qualify for the role?
- Prior Experience: Candidates with 3-8 years of experience in business development or field sales in the context of retail expansion, real estate, hotels or hospitality can apply.
- Key Skill Sets: Strong skills required with spreadsheets (MS-Excel), numerical assessment, analytical problem solving, data collection and assessment, ability to independently meet and represent Zolo with property owners and large builders / developers.
- Educational Background: Top tier MBA institutes would be given strong preference
- Location: Pune
- Languages: English is mandatory and fluency in Marathi is a plus.
