Senior Relationship Manager - Energy

For an international bank in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager with 7 to 10 years experience in developping and managing a book of physical energy trading companies in Switzerland and abroad.

 

Assignment / responsibilities:

- Responsible for the management and development of Oil and Gas accounts within the CTF department:

- Business development and acquisition of Trade Finance clients. Marketing of bank's services to existing clients and new prospects

- Availability to travel to visit clients premises / forwarders / Lawyers when requested

- Structuring transactions in cooperation with Transactional Managers and all relevant departments of the bank such as Legal, Compliance and Risk departments

- Answer client requests on a timely basis and advise them on structuring of operations.

- Ensure all security documentation is collected and transmitted to Credit Department

- Drafting and updating client profiles

- Drafting and updating of credit proposal whether spot or permanent

- Proceeding with account opening and administrative follow up of client's accounts

- Report to department heads and deterioration observed in client's position

- Assisting head of CTF in implementing a development business for the Energy segment.

 

Daily tasks involves:

• Acquisition of new clients, account opening, implement credit limits, ensure optimal utilization.


• Implement credits consistent with the credit policy of the bank.


• Evaluate credit worthiness of debtors in cooperation with departments of other banks.


• Review credit contracts and thereto relevant documentation in coordination with Legal Department.
