For a successful soft commodities
trading company with nearly a decade of existence in Switzerland and
providing high value to the supply chain management, we are looking
for the following profile:
Operations & Trade Finance officer
Main responsibilities:
- Execution and follow up of logistic
and administrative issues related to the operations of physical soft
commodities trading. - Manage all related documentation to
shipments on CAD basis or letter of credit (LC’s) when applicable. - Process all documentation from
contract to final papers required, such as invoice, bill of lading,
conditional / unconditional releases, Certificate of Origin (approved
by the Chamber of Commerce as well as relevant embassies) and others
for mainly FOB, CFR, and CIF shipments. - Prepare and review stock
reconciliation, Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts and act as liaison
with Accounting department. - Work closely with traders, brokers,
agents at origin and destination, inspection companies, suppliers,
buyers and banks to ensure the smooth flow of information between
stakeholders. - Continuously focus on supply chain
and execution process improvement. - Follow-up on sales/purchase
contracts. - Prepare loading/discharging laytime
computation based upon sales/purchase contracts and identify
opportunities to optimize at best calculations with the Chartering
department.
Full time or 90%

REQUIREMENTS
- 3 - 4 years of related experience in
soft commodities market to include: - Supply chain and key supply chain
processes - Payment instruments and applicable
rules - International trade documentation
- Letters of Credit negotiation
- Fluent in English. French, Russian
and Arabic would be a plus. - Incoterms knowledge
- Strong organizational skill
- Team spirit
- Precise, efficient and dynamic with
good resistance to stress - Swiss or valid Swiss work permit
